The past couple of weeks I’ve been sharing how you can find your soul purpose, how to start shuffling through all the noise to listen to what your soul needs.  If you’ve missed the first two parts, then you can catch up here:-

First Step

Second Step

Which leads us to the third thing that you can do, because you’ve been getting out into the fresh air and exercising right??!!

You’re opening yourself up to listening to your soul.

But how do you do that?  How can you tell what your soul is saying?

What I want you to start practicing is clearing your mind – yes I’m talking about meditation!!!

Please don’t think that you have to sit down for an hour to meditate, you don’t.

You don’t even have to listen to meditation CDs!!!  However, if you’d prefer to do that, you can download my free guided meditations right >>HERE

It’s actually really easy to meditate.  Forget about saying ohhhmmmm and whatever else you think you need to do.

When starting out just sit down in a quiet space for 5 minutes and just listen to the sounds around you.  If you want to get yourself a cup of coffee/tea, then go for it.

You’re sitting there with your coffee and take a sip and close your eyes and just listen.

You may hear some birds twittering away to themselves and then you might hear a car going past.

When you feel your mind starting to think about what you need to do later, making those mental check lists that we all do, you simply bring your mind back to focus on the sounds around you.

Maybe you just want to focus on breathing.

Take a sip of that coffee close your eyes and ..

In your mind count slowly to four as you breathe in hold it for a moment and then count backwards from four until you have released all the air in your lungs.

Do the breathing for at least five inwards and outward breaths.

It’s as simple as that.

Do this at least once a day just to give your mind a rest and you’ll find that it’s like recharging a battery and you’ll be able to focus on things much better!!!

Especially, listening to what your soul is trying to tell you.

Love & light
