A lot of people struggle to know or maybe accept that they’re on the right path in their journey.

Fear can be a big factor in this, because no-one seems to want to make a ‘mistake’ in their choice.

Now, for me, I just want to say that any path is the right path because they all offer us experience and lessons.

I also don’t believe in ‘mistakes’ per se.

A mistake is nothing more than proof that you tried something.

If you learn from it, then it’s not a mistake but a lesson, so you’re on the right path.

If you don’t learn from it, crap is going to repeat until you do!

When faced with hardship, sometimes we need to just sit back and look at things differently.

Through a different type of lens.

If that means seeking some professional help so you can see the situation clearer, then do it.

We can all become overwhelmed when going through a tough time.

Often, we beat ourselves up because we feel that we’ve made the ‘wrong’ choice and we got off the right path onto the wrong one.

Know this.

You made the right choice for you at that point in time.

You can’t look back and go ‘if only’.

It’s about accepting that you may need to make some different decisions so you feel excited about the right path for you.

However, I just wanted to share with you eight signs that you are on the right path, just in case you’re wondering.

  1. You feel excited waking up in the morning looking forward to the day ahead.
  2. You get tired but you feel satisfied with what you’ve achieved / experienced.
  3. Regardless of what the end result will be, you know that you’re not going to have any regrets.
  4. You’re feeling incredibly confident, even though you have no idea why you are.
  5. You’re full of excitement about the future and very focused on where you’re heading rather than overthinking the past.
  6. You don’t beat yourself up over mistakes, instead you look at them as a learning curve.
  7. You share your goals with people around you.
  8. Even though some parts may be difficult for you, you don’t procrastinate but get stuck into it.

Take these eight signs about being on the right path and see if it applies for where you are now.

If they don’t, then you might need to reassess the choices that you need to make to change things.
