Have you ever encountered an Earth Angel? You may also know of them as Lightworkers.

An Earth Angel is here to spread their light around the world and to encourage everyone to live positively, and more importantly, to make a positive change in the world.

Their focus is on love, kindness, compassion and healing and they don’t have patience for hate, intolerance, violence nor oppression.  Earth Angels most of all want to be free from suffering and to live a life filled with harmony.

Earth Angels aren’t the same as Angels that we read about in the Bible, they don’t glow with a light.  However, they all have an inner light that we can sense.  They walk among us and live lives just like we do and they are the person that will show us kindness when we are at our lowest.  Just having them around lifts our spirits.

So, here’s some ways you can identify if you’ve ever encountered an Earth Angel.

1. Change of View – When you’ve been in a dark place and feel that everything is hopeless and you meet a stranger, someone that enters your life unexpectedly and helps you get through that dark time and through to the other side. They are someone that will make you view the world differently, and it doesn’t have to be an earth shattering event, it can be something simple that they’ve said that resonates with you.  No matter how small it was, it was enough to grow the light within you and get you through that tough time.
2. Awakening – You know when you’re stuck in a mindset or a situation and you don’t even realise it until you meet someone whose mere presence inspires you. Their inspiration makes you start to remember your purpose in this life and you become more energetic and ready to follow your true path.  Because of them, you realise that life is worth living and that things will get better.
3. Activate your Senses – Earth Angels have a lot of powerful energy that comes from a place of peace and calm in their heart and mind and when you’ve been around one, you will also suddenly become more calm and able to be in the present moment. When you’re around them you are able to stop and enjoy those little things in life.  You will literally stop and smell the roses.  We become more childlike in our view of the world and realise that we’re actually starting to live rather than exist.
4. Feel Young Again – an Earth Angel will never tell you that you’re too old to do something. They will remind you that age is just a number and that we’re supposed to enjoy life, to have fun to laugh at ourselves.
5. Open Up – You know that person who could be a complete stranger that you open up to and you don’t give a second thought about it? That’s an earth angel. They will allow you to get it all out, and when you’ve finished opening yourself up, you’ll feel content, not exposed.  You know that they won’t use information against you.  Being able to talk to them is a form of healing.
6. Help you Heal – Earth Angels are healers, and their presence makes you feel like there is nothing too dark or too wrong about you that cannot be opened, soothed, and healed. We feel a boost in energy while around them, both physical, emotional and spiritual. A simple touch can make you forget the past and make you feel wonderful and relaxed.
7. Acceptance – When you’re with an Earth Angel they will make you realise that everything is unconditionally alright about you. They help you to be relieved of all self-judgment, and inspire you to accept yourself, just the way you are.

Earth Angels are wonderful people to have in your life, make sure that you appreciate what they can help you with and don’t use them constantly.

Take the lessons that they give you and apply it to your life because that’s why they’re here, to help the world be a better place, one person at a time.
