Over the past few weeks I’ve been sharing ways for you to be able to listen to your soul so that you can work out what your soul purpose is.

Last week we talked about clearing the energies in your home and work environment.

Now, I know that it’s not always an easy task, so here’s hoping that you’ve started to do that and you’ll keep on doing it.  Don’t think either, that it’s a ‘one off’ task.

Personally, I go through things usually once a year, clearing out cupboards, working out what I still need, what I’m holding onto that I no longer need and just reassessing.

What’s next?

I believe that it’s important for you to go about cleaning up all the other parts of your life.

What do I mean by that?

You need to get rid of everything that you can that makes you unhappy or drains you.

Such as bad habits.

I don’t need to list bad habits because you’re an adult and you should be able to recognise what your bad habits are.

If you’re not aware of what they are, ask friends and don’t get upset at the answer!  You asked and you want them to be honest with you.

Make the resolution and stick to it!

However, there are other things that can make you unhappy and drain you.

Are you in a negative relationship?  Whether romantic or a friendship?

Do you have a job that you hate?

You need to set about changing these things.

And yes, it does take time to do that, but when you start to implement the changes then you’re starting to change your world.

Maybe you need to study so that you can change careers.  Or seek a counsellor / psychologist to help you with understanding who you are so you can better deal with negative relationships.

Just remember that you’re not put on this planet to save people, if they don’t want helping then it’s time to walk away.

You can’t save a relationship on your own, if the other person isn’t putting in the effort, get the hint and move on.

One thing you can do is set aside some time, maybe once a week for you to sit down and create a schedule for yourself to change all the things that make you unhappy.

Make it a happiness schedule!

Then at the end of each week, tick of those things that you have accomplished.  It can be as simple as taking the time to enjoy a cup of tea outside in nature.

Or going for a walk without staring at your phone the whole time.

Your goal is to be in a place where your heart sings!!!

Yes, mundane things still need to be done, like keep track of your finances etc, but make a schedule and stick to it.

Remember there is no better place to be than in a place of happiness and as we know, happiness is a journey not a destination.

As you do these things, your happiness will grow because you will be doing things and dealing with things that you love.

And when you have to deal with the occasions when you’re doing something that doesn’t make you happy, it’s not going to have as big an impact on you.

How have you found these steps so far?  I would love to hear?

Love & light
