Clairsentience – what actually is it?

Clairsentience is knowing what people are feeling

There are a number of different ‘clairs’ as they call them in the spiritual world.

Today, I’m just going to touch on clairsentience.

The term is from the French word clair which means ‘clear’ and sentience which means ‘feeling’.

In a nutshell it’s the ability to sense other people’s emotions, especially those that they’re trying to hide.

Where you can sense the past, present, or future physical and emotional states of others without the standard five senses.

Being an empath and having clairsentience is actually two different things.

Empaths are highly sensitive, and finely tuned when it comes to emotions.

They feel everything, quite often to an extreme, and are less able to intellectualize feelings.

So, here’s five ways that you can start to develop or improve your clairsentience.

  1. You need to listen to your emotions.

Because your emotional centre is what guides you when it comes to clairsentience.

  1. You need to be aware of your physical reactions

Why? Because the energy of others affects your physical body just as much as your emotions.

  1. Learn to work with energy.

Do something like meditate regularly.  Learn to do energy healing like reiki or chakra balancing.

The reason for this is that it’s going to help you learn all the different ways that energy can present itself.

  1. You need to learn what affects energy.

By that I mean, your thoughts can affect your energy, your feelings and actions all have a role.

But also things like what you eat or drink can affect your energy as well.

  1. You need to practice!

Seriously, practice does make perfect.

Sure you’re not going to get it right to start with, but that’s why you need to practice!

  • You often use phrases like “I feel,” or “I sense that…”
  • Quiet time in nature reinvigorates you.
  • You feel anxiety when handling older items.
  • Your gut is your guide.
  • You’re a great listener because you empathize with others so well.
  • You often get “goosies” or chills for no reason.
  • People may label you as “over-sensitive” or “too emotional.”
  • You can easily read between the lines.
  • You sometimes feel uncomfortable or even physically ill around dark energy.
