There’s a message from Abraham (if you don’t know who Abraham is you need to read the book The Law of Attraction!) it goes like this:-

A happy life is just a string of happy moments. But most people don’t allow the happy moment, because they’re so busy trying to get a happy life.

How true is that?  So many people come through my door wanting to find happiness or thinking that they have to get to some destination to be happy and content and it truly is all about the journey, though for some it’s easier said than done as they just keep losing sight of where they are.

People say to me, I’m on a journey and I know I’m here but I have to get to “there” but don’t know how to, I always say and where is “there”?  And they never know.  It’s all about enjoying where we are in the present moment, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t plan for the future!  We still need to move forward in our journeys, and there’s lots of people out there who have stagnated and just keep going around in circles, it’s like they’re waiting for something to happen, and not realising that they have to play their part in it all.

At the tarot workshop I held on Saturday, I had an odd number of students so one poor person had to do a reading for me!!  She was so nervous but the cards that I pulled showed that I’ve had some tough decisions to make in my life, which I have, but I’ve made them and am happy with where I am in life and am heading in the right direction!  I said to her, lucky you didn’t have to give a bad reading to the teacher huh!!!???!!!!

So no matter how stressed out or upset we are, there is a reason that we are in that place, and it’s not necessarily a punishment! (Why do people always see “bad” things as punishment??) remember that it is all a part of the journey to make us who we are, lessons to learn about life and also about ourselves, and those lessons NEVER stop, so even if you miraculously arrive at that destination of complete happiness there will still be things going on that test you.

Remember, that happiness and contentment with our lives is something that happens WITHIN us – it’s got nothing to do with what is happening in the world around us.

Till next week.
